We
are an art and crafts group that offers creative and messy play for children
(Little People) from 9 months to 11 years and their carers (Big People);
with games, music and stories to stimulate their imagination and aid
their development.
We welcome
mums, dads, grannies, grandads, aunties, uncles, childminders, in fact
any responsible Big Person can bring their Little Person to create
together, laugh together, play together and leave the mess to
us!
Our fully
interactive, 45-minute sessions
are themed weekly
for different age groups
and are run throughout the year by Creative Little People's founder and
mum, Sarah
Bittner, providing a social and proactive group environment for both
adults and children alike.
Why not give
us a try? See what others
have to say that have below! We have sessions
in Aston on Trent, Chellaston,
Darley Abbey, and Melbourne.

Creative Little People is amazing. My 2 year old niece
gets so excited each week about going and is so proud of the items
she makes at the group - its fun and active - I
could not recommend it more highly. Sarah
clearly puts a tremendous amount of time and effort into planning
the sessions and her enthusiasm is infectious.

My daughter Grace (22 months) and myself love Creative Little People!
Sarah is fantastic! So full of energy
and enthusiasm, she makes everyone so welcome, and how she keeps thinking
up what
we do each week is amazing!
Each session is very well prepared, there is no pressure on
the children to sit still, the atmosphere is relaxed, fun and happy.
Everything we do is thought out with the
view that it can easily be repeated at home. I can genuinely
say I look forward to it each week and I've seen Grace get more involved
as the weeks have gone on which is fantastic to see. Thank you Sarah,
keep up the good work!!

I've only been bringing my grandson
to the sessions for a few weeks and can already see his confidence growing.
He thoroughly enjoys coming along and
gets to do lots of creative activities that I'm not good at doing on
my own!

Just wanted to say thank you for a lovely class yesterday at Darley
Abbey. It was the first time
Izaak and I had been to Creative Little People, and we will definitely
be coming back! Kam and I have recommended it to our
other NCT friends and they are interested in coming along when they
can. I read your personal information last night on your website, and
just wanted to email you to say that your idea of starting the group
is very brave and fantastic. You
are very so enthusiastic and you made it a lovely time for me and Izaak.
I hope it becomes a big success for you.

Sam and I love Thursday afternoons with Sarah at Creative Little People.
We both have loads of fun and it is quality
time spent doing activities together. Sam loves
making things and is always proud to share what he has made with friends
and family; every
week is something new so he never gets bored. Sarah
is full of warmth and energy and always bubbly and bouncy throughout
the whole session which creates a fantastic lively and friendly atmosphere
in which all children can play, create and have loads of fun.

My daughter, Ella (3) and I have attended a number of sessions and have
had such good fun! Sarah is very friendly,
professional and welcoming and really engages with the children and
captures their imagination. Each
themed session is really well thought out with a great mix of art,
singing, games, stories and fun. It's great to be able
to pay as you go and the loyalty
card is a bonus - we've just had our first "free" session! Ella
really looks forward to going every week, and so do I!

Our sessions are great fun and I take
my hat off to Sarah not only for her inspired activities but also for
the great warmth and welcome of the sessions. The
sessions have something for everyone irrespective of age
and whilst my 16 month daughter currently loves the toys, songs and
simply the opportunity to run around, the
exposure to arts and crafts in such a fun environment and from such
an early age must be beneficial.

An amazing opportunity to make something
exciting every week in the company of a lovely motivator Sarah and
to share with friendly people. Grandparents have the
chance to meet other people and relieve their youth from grandparents
who used to be an accountant and a primary school teacher!

You are
doing truly outstanding job. My son is having so much fun each time
we come for a session. I can see a great
positive influence on him, especially when it comes to overcoming a
language barrier as we come from non-English speaking country.
Not to mention your hospitality for 'blokes' bringing their kids in.
I appreciate very much your efforts to
bring the best out of my kid!

What a fantastic party! Thank you Creative
Little People for making my daughter's fourth birthday so much fun!
You went to so much trouble to get to know what my daughter likes before
hand which made it even more special. Friendly
and professional, I will recommend you to all
my friends!

My 4 year old daughter looks forward all week to joining Sarah at Chellaston’s
Creative Little People group on a Thursday afternoon. Sarah is so welcoming
and fun and has copious amounts of energy. All
the activities are well planned out so that the kids can crack on with
creating their masterpieces. Everything
created has a use and can be used again at home to show family. Well
done Sarah for creating so much fun for us on a Thursday afternoon.

Creative Little People is a nice bite size chunk of time, where Oliver
can experience being with a group of children his own age, working with
colour and shapes and
all sorts of themes. We sing, we dance, we do the hokey cokey (and
that's what it's all about!). Its
a fun and stimulating time which we both thoroughly enjoy.

Fridays is our time at Creative Little People in Darley
Abbey and we love it. We've made some
awesome goodies, like bookmarks for grandmas, coasters
for daddy, an incy wincy spider, Goldilocks and scented play dough.
Sarah does so much in 45 minutes with
boundless energy, yet is still hugely patient and attentive with my
daughter, Emily (20 months), who likes to observe rather
than get stuck in straight away. Everyone
there is supportive as well. Mums, dads, grannies, aunties,
we all just want to talk about the kids and we can do it whilst painting!
Love Creative Little People.

Whilst visiting my sister in Derby, I took my niece along to a Creative
Little People session in Darley Abbey. At first I was a little apprehensive
about how we would get on, but Sarah made
us feel so welcome and we were soon engrossed in playing and making
all sorts of things! I was really impressed with the
location and set up that Sarah uses. The
materials and equipment are first class and her enthusiasm shines through.
It was fantastic
to spend time with my niece in a group environment, releasing our creative
sides without having to clean up afterwards!
Thank you Sarah ... I can't wait to come back and do it again.

I have been going to Creative Little People now for appoximately 8 weeks
and my 2-year-old loves it! Sarah is warm and kind and very patient!!!
I have to bring
my new born baby with me and even if I have to feed her Sarah will help
George and involve him in the activities without any hassle or concerns
allowing me to feed Lottie without worry that George is missing out
or being a problem.
The creative activities are well thought
out, topical and compliments the singing, dancing etc that we always
do as part of the session and is definitely excellent value for money.
My husband comes home every wednesday and George is always eager to
show him what he has made!
I can thoroughly recommend Creative Little
People and have encouraged friends to attend with their little one's
and we always have fun!
